teaching, but also for his therapeutic application of yoga asana. This video
covers one of his rare demonstrations of therapeutics. Clearly recorded, and
with excellent sound, this tape includes a question and answer session and
practical therapeutic demonstrations. Mr. Iyengar answers questions on: The use
of will power in asana, Abhyasa (repeated practice), Vairagya (freedom from
desire), and how to balance yoga with modern medicine. He gives poses for
reactions to tobacco smoke, low blood sugar, the immune system and AIDS. Mr.
Iyengar demonstrates adapted asanas for: two neck problems in inversions, broken wrist in dog pose, and sacral trauma in forward
